Serene Hills Homeowners Association, Inc.

Lakeway Highlands FirstService Residential · sub-area of Rough Hollow

Shares Rough Hollow's management.

Flintrock Falls Goodwin & Company (formerly Goodwin Management)

Flintrock at Hurst Creek Property Owners' Association, Inc. (plus sub-associations e.g. Overlook at Flintrock Falls, Villas at Flintrock).

The Preserve at Lakeway CastleRock community · master HOA + sub-HOAs (Villas, Courtyard)

Single-family community built by CastleRock Communities at 15200 Dorothy Dr. Approximate HOA dues: $216/year. Structure is a master HOA plus a Villas sub-HOA and the Courtyard sub-HOA.

  • Resident Facebook group (best peer-to-peer channel): facebook.com/groups/PreserveatLakeway — request to join; board members and neighbors post here.
  • Courtyard sub-HOA: managed by Capital Association Management (CAM) · 512-288-2376 · resident portal portal.camanagers.com · courtyardatthepreserve.org
  • Master HOA + Villas sub-HOA — current management certificate (phone, email, mailing address of the management company on file with the State): hoa.texas.gov → search "Preserve at Lakeway". Texas Property Code §209.004 requires every HOA to keep this filing current; it's the most reliable contact-of-record.
  • If you're a new owner: your title company's closing packet (resale certificate) is required by law to include the active management company name, phone, and email. Check there first.
  • Note: preservehomeowners.com is a different HOA (The Preserve near Westlake) — not this community. Don't use that site.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling — Waste Connections (City contract) Billing 512-314-7514 · pricing · pickup day · holidays · bulky items

City Solid Waste (billing): 512-314-7514 · email

Pay utility bill online · Solid Waste page

What it costs
  • Base service: $80.55/quarter — one trash cart + one recycle cart, both picked up weekly.
  • Additional trash cart: $101.55/quarter per extra cart. So adding a second trash cart brings your bill to $80.55 + $101.55 = $182.10/quarter.
  • Additional recycling cart: $101.55/quarter per extra cart — same as adding a trash cart.
  • Quarterly billing: invoices arrive at the start of Jan, Apr, Jul, and Oct. Late fee: $10. Restart fee after deactivation: $75 deposit + $30 reactivation.
  • Source: City Paying Your Bill.
When your trash is picked up

Pickup day depends on your address — Lakeway is divided into service-day zones. Find your day on the City's Solid Waste Service Day Map (Google My Maps). Carts out by 6 a.m. on your scheduled day.

Holiday service schedule

Per the City: "Trash and recycling services are provided during all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day." When pickup falls on one of those three holidays, service slides to the next available day (typically Friday or Saturday of that week).

  • Normal service on: MLK Day · Memorial Day · Independence Day (July 4) · Labor Day · Veterans Day · Christmas Eve · New Year's Eve · every other federal/state holiday.
  • Skipped/slid on: Thanksgiving Day · Christmas Day · New Year's Day only.
  • Current schedule: lakeway-tx.gov/Holiday-Service-Schedule
Bulky Items

Up to 2 bulky items per week — schedule pickup through Waste Connections. Mattresses, furniture, large appliances qualify. Some items (paint, tires, hazardous waste) are excluded — see bulky waste rules.

Recycling

Single-stream — paper, cardboard, glass, plastics #1–5, metal cans. Do NOT include: plastic bags, Styrofoam, pizza boxes, yard waste, e-waste, glass shards, or shredded paper. All Lakeway recycling goes to Balcones Resources (a certified MRF in Austin). Full sorting rules.
